Set behind the historic Longhorn Ballroom on the original banks of the Trinity River, the Longhorn Backyard Amphitheater is North Texas’ bold new destination for open-air music and cultural events. With a 6,500-person capacity and skyline views just one mile south of downtown Dallas, it brings modern production to a site rooted in Texas music history.

In September 2025, the venue made its long-awaited debut with an unforgettable show by Randy Rogers Band, joined by special guests Jackson Wendell and Cameron Allbright. A huge crowd turned out, soaking in every moment of the inaugural performance beneath the Texas stars.

A limited run of soft-opening shows will be offered to fans as a first look and first listen before a full season launch in Spring 2026.

With live music, community events, and cultural programming on the horizon, the Longhorn Backyard marks the beginning of the next great chapter in Dallas music.
