Texas Culture:
Past, Present, Future

For over seventy-five years, The Longhorn has symbolized the grit, creativity, and spirit of Dallas. The legendary dance hall remains the centerpiece that is transforming the campus into a vibrant hub where art, music, food, and business converge. Every corner of The Longhorn tells a story, from the stage that launched legends to the studios, eateries, and gathering spaces shaping its next chapter.

More than just a venue, it is a campus that embraces community and culture and serves as a platform to launch the next generation of Texas creatives.

About Us

At the heart of The Longhorn’s revitalization is Edwin Cabaniss and his team at Kessler Presents. Building on the legacy of restoring historic landmarks such as The Kessler Theater and the Heights Theater, Cabaniss envisions showcasing the legendary Longhorn Ballroom as the centerpiece of a vibrant ecosystem for artists, entrepreneurs, and audiences alike, a place that celebrates Texas’ creative spirit through live music, dining, coworking, hospitality, and collaboration. Once complete, The Longhorn will serve as a modern gathering place for the Texas culture and creativity.

Dallas’ Longhorn Ballroom Embraces Its Past While Looking to the Future

Edwin Cabaniss purchased the venue in 2022 and has been working with his team to preserve and honor its history while expanding the venue’s offerings.
